The 72-bed Monfort-Jones Hospital provides general medical, obstetrical, and surgical care along with a 24-hour emergency department, a 7 -bed coronary unit, an acute care unit, swing bed service and adult psychiatric care services. Over 400 medical specialists and 22 specialized medical facilities are located within a one-hour drive of Kosciusko.

The Attala County Health Department consists of environmentalists, physicians, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, disease intervention specialists and medical aides.
